About Me

Builder first. Quality-obsessed always.

Software engineer with 7+ years of progressive experience building tools, automation systems, and quality frameworks across Identity Management, biometrics, and security technology. I write code, design systems, lead quality initiatives, and thrive in roles that reward both technical depth and critical thinking. Open to software engineering, automation, QA, and systems-focused roles.

Engineering Depth

7+ years writing production Python, C#, SQL, and JavaScript — building tools, frameworks, automation systems, and infrastructure that teams actually rely on.

Quality Instinct

A natural eye for where systems break down. I bring engineering rigour to testing, and a testing mindset to everything I build.

Versatile by Design

Comfortable across the stack — from scripting data pipelines and building web apps to designing network infrastructure and shipping identity systems to government clients.

Technical Skills

Hands-on across languages, platforms, and disciplines.

Programming Languages

Python, C#, SQL/MySQL, JavaScript, PHP, Java, HTML, VBScript, C/C++.

Automation & Testing

Playwright, pytest, HP UFT (VBScript), Locust (load testing), custom Python test frameworks.

Tools & Platforms

VS Code, PyCharm, Visual Studio, Android Studio, Amazon Q, Claude Code, Git, Notepad++.

Domains

Identity Management, Biometrics, Passport Issuance Systems, Security Technology, Web & Mobile.

Operating Systems

Windows, Linux/Ubuntu, macOS.

Engineering Competencies

System design, test planning, defect lifecycle management, performance testing, cross-functional collaboration, CI integration.

Professional Experience

Solution QA Engineer  | Toppan Security  Apr 2025 – Present · Remote

Built GUI automation suites in Playwright and pytest from the ground up, delivering scalable sanity-test coverage for web-based identity solutions. Engineered load-testing frameworks in Python and Locust to simulate production-scale traffic and validate system performance limits. Led end-to-end quality validation across Mobile, Web, and Executable platforms for Identity Management products. Leveraged Amazon Q and Claude Code as AI-assisted tools to accelerate test creation, automate coverage analysis, and streamline development workflows.

Solution QA Engineer I  | HID Global  Mar 2020 – Apr 2025 · Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Owned full-cycle software quality for Identity Management solutions across mobile apps, web portals, and embedded executable systems — serving government and enterprise clients globally. Developed Python automation scripts that replaced manual regression workflows, reducing test execution time and human error. Built and maintained virtual Jump-box environments enabling secure, distributed hardware access for developer teams. Configured and validated hardware/software stacks for passport issuance systems deployed to government clients. Acted as technical liaison across engineering, product, and deployment — defining acceptance criteria, triaging defects, and coordinating releases.

Systems Engineer — Thor Program  | Crossmatch (HID)  Mar 2018 – Mar 2020 · Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Built Python + SQL/MySQL tooling for image processing, data analysis, and database management — eliminating manual workflows and improving data integrity across large-scale biometrics deployments. Designed and deployed a fully air-gapped mobile network for on-site biometrics collection events, including server infrastructure and multiple client stations. Developed a C# web application managing scheduling for 200+ volunteers across collection events. Wrote a C# automation tool integrating the DYMO printer SDK to generate barcode and name-tag badges for participant groups. Managed database quality control and integrity for multi-station biometrics deployments.

Software QA Engineering Intern  | Crossmatch  Mar 2018 – Oct 2018 · Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Executed functional and integration testing across ArcID modules, documenting defects and working with engineers toward resolution. Validated biometric sensor compatibility with a new web interface across diverse hardware configurations. Revived and extended a legacy HP UFT (VBScript) automation suite to align with ArcID's updated UI, meaningfully expanding automated coverage.
